Duncree Troubadour (name pending) arrived in the early hours of Wednesday December 22nd

He is our first Llewellyn Moritz foal and we are very pleased with him.

It had been a week of hot Canterbury Nor west winds and his dam Cotswold Bonnie Doon waited until it was cool & calm to have her foal.

A check of Bonnie just after midnight and she was happily grazing. I went back at 1.30am and there he was. A real surprise to see he was a chestnut as both parents are black.

Arriving just before Christmas he was the perfect Christmas present.

He's a cheeky wee man and the Herd are very patient with him.
